Cameroon: SDF dismiss Ambazonia attack on Fru Ndi’s residence

The Social Democratic Front has dismissed media reports of an attack by ambazonia separatist fighters on the residence of Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi describing the information as false.
In a communiqué signed by the Secretary General of the party Jean Tsomelu, said the Chairman of the party was never attacked by separatists neither was he abducted as some media reports claim.

The driver of the SDF Chairman was however shot by security forces on Sunday around the Food market as he was returning home.

While confirming this information, the SDF condemned the acts of the security forces describing them as callous, regrettable and regrettable.

The party also confirmed via the communiqué that the driver’s life was out of danger and is positively responding to treatment.
