Cameroon’s Head of State Paul Biya has received an invitation from his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune for a State visit.
The invitation was handed over to President Paul Biya Wednesday March 24 during an audience he granted Algerian Minister of External Affairs, Sabri Boukadoum, bearer of a special message from his President at the Unity Palace.
Both States men used the over 50minute audience to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation ties between Yaounde and Alger.
Their main focus was on the African Continental Free Trade Zone. Both countries have as ambition to put in place projects that will touch the whole world.

Speaking to the press after his audience, Sabri Boukadoum said some of these projects would have been underway by now if not for the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to reports, both countries are bind by eight cooperation agreements in the domains of justice, transport, trade archives and parliamentary affairs.
